I highly recommend this hotel . Thanks to the Meroddi Hotel , they made our trip memorable. First, receptionist men kindly Mr Ufuk suggested us to change our room into a bigger room free of charge. The clean service lady Mrs Shenai perfectly clean the room each day, we stayed there for 8 nights without any problem. Also, the internet was so great . About the stuff I should say that, they are so expert, friendly always behaved respectfully and warm. Specially miss Aysude, mr Umit and Asaf if you want something they provided as soon as possible. In our plan breakfast was included, that was so delicious, fresh with great options each day differently. The last night miss Aysude on behalf of the guests elections groups of the hotel had a special surprise for us she provided a nice meal for us that made them us so happy and great.

The hotel is nice, has an excellent location very close to Galata Tower and to İstiklal Avenue. Good rooms with AC, good beds and decent turkish breakfast. Friendly staff. Overall good value for your money.

The hotel is in an excellent location - around a 2-3 minute walk to Galata Tower, lots of shops and cafes. Also around a 5 min walk to the Metro, Tunel and Karakoy tram stop (public transport is very good and cheap in Istanbul and is the best way to travel around). It’s very easy to access many of the main sights from these locations. The accommodation itself is a boutique style hotel set within an old residential building. The front were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms themselves are comfortable (although maybe a little tired) and clean. The rooms are well equipped and cleaned daily to a good standard. Breakfast is provided and although I didn’t have this myself, I was told by other guests in my party that this was very good with plenty of choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Istanbul and book this accommodation again. A wonderful stay in an amazing city!

False advertising for "refundable" rooms

We booked a 4 night stay, then unfortunately a funeral was arranged for the final day of our holiday which I needed to travel back to the UK for. I informed Meroddi Bagdatliyan several weeks before our stay that we'd need to change our booking to 3 nights due to the funeral and we'd like the 4th night refunded. They immediately acknowledged the request and said the refund process would take 5 working days. 25 working days later and I have STILL not received the refund. They refuse to provide an explanation for why it's taking so long and I don't think I'll ever see that money again. Completely wrong to advertise rooms as refundable and then not provide a refund.

In the center of the city, we are welcomed with hospitality and comfort. We had a 2+1 flat ( there are different flats which are very close to each other) with a very nice sea and Galata Tower view. It was very clean and staff was very friendly. It is pretty close to metro and ferry. Istiklal Street is 2 min walk with lots of shops, cafe and bars. Highly recommended.
